ESS was given OYAP funding to help promote Indigenous students within skilled trades and part of the project partnered Manufacturing students with Visual Arts students to fabricate metal cut outs of the three Tyendinaga clans of Wolf, Bear and Turtle along with some Peace Tree cutouts. Visual Arts students had the opportunity to add custom paint decorations and keep as a project. This project will allow 130 students will experience deeper learning of our Tyendinaga community within Eastside SS.
