Congratulations to Surya Narayan Santhakumar from Eastside Secondary School who won The Top Project in the Secondary Division (grades 9 to 12) at the Quinte Regional Science Fair! His project, Net Zero Commute – Innovative and Sustainable Routing Platform includes an App for users to predict their greenest method of travel.
Surya was also select for the following:
1. Best in grade
2. Dennis Kritzer Computer Science Programming Award
3. The Panch Yogeswaran Senior Robotics/AI award
4. Most Innovative Application of Technology Award
Surya and five overall winners were selected to advance to the Canada Wide Science Fair in Ottawa in May to represent the Quinte Region.
