Drama Production 2 Credit Program
ADD2O/3O/3M/4M Drama: Production and ADP3M/3O/4M Drama: Playwriting/Theatre Development
This two credit program is tailored to give students real-life experience in creating a full-length production with a focus on acting, writing, set design, and set painting. Each student will learn the complexity of this art-form and will be expected to contribute to the production in many ways. The production teams look after promotion, fund raising, lighting & sound, costumes, and hair & makeup. Each person must commit a substantial amount of additional time beyond class time. This two-credit package offers students opportunities to develop life skills such as long-range planning, improved communication skills, increased awareness of stagecraft, and creative thinking. If the demand for this two credit course is high, interviews will be held in March.
